    No bill applying viewpoint-antidiscrimination duties to platforms or to hosting and DDoS-protection providers passed either chamber, and none was enacted. The 119th Congress bills on the subject were all referred and left there: Censorship Accountability Act (S. 67, 2025-01-09), Stop the Censorship Act (H.R. 908, 2025-02-04), Platform Accountability and Transparency Act (S. 3292, 2025-12-01), Sunset To Reform Section 230 Act (H.R. 6746, 2025-12-16) and Sunset Section 230 Act (S. 3546, 2025-12-17). None of them reaches back-end providers. There is no administration request for such legislation: nothing on Section 230 or Big Tech appears in presidential-actions.ndjson or in any Federal Register presidential document since 2025-01-20.

A Requires-Congress ask, on the §3b ladder at the bottom rung: introduction and referral is not started. Nothing reached a committee vote, let alone a floor vote, and no formal administration request was made.

The one bill placed on a calendar in this subject area, H.R. 1071 (No Censors on our Shores Act, Union Calendar 2026-04-09), is about foreign governments censoring Americans, not about antidiscrimination duties on U.S. platforms — and under §3b a calendar placement would be not started in any case.

The “back-end” half of the Quote — hosting services and DDoS protection — appears in no bill found. That is the part of the ask least touched by anything in the record.
