Bar ARC/PLC payments in the same year as a crop insurance indemnity

   Congress moved the other way in the same statute that could have carried the prohibition. P.L. 119-21 (2025-07-04) Secs. 10301-10305 raise effective reference prices, add base acres, and extend Price Loss Coverage and Agriculture Risk Coverage through the 2031 crop year, while Secs. 10501-10504 raise federal crop insurance premium support — the two payment streams the Quote wants made mutually exclusive were both enlarged, and nothing in the act bars a producer from receiving an ARC or PLC payment in a year in which a crop insurance indemnity is paid. The House-passed farm bill (2026-04-30) continues both titles and adds no such bar. No bill in the 119th-Congress Corpus proposes one.
