Searched: the FY2026 NDAA title V (officer personnel policy) in full and for "social engineering" and "readiness of the armed forces" as a duty statement (nothing); the bills Corpus of the 119th Congress; the Federal Register full-text API. The related change is administrative and elsewhere: EO 14151 and FY2026 NDAA sec. 901 abolish the Department's diversity, equity and inclusion programs (see #173, #194), but neither writes a duty instruction into the officer statutes or into the Senate confirmation process.
