The Weaponization Working Group was constituted from department attorneys: led by the Office of the Attorney General and supported by the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, the Office of Legal Policy, the Civil Rights Division, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia "and other personnel as necessary", cataloguing conduct over the prior four years and reporting up to the Attorney General and quarterly to the White House. That is a staffed review elevating findings to department leadership. Nothing published records the detail of attorney appointees with criminal, national security or homeland security backgrounds that the Quote specifies, or a chain of command built for the purpose.
