The Privacy Office's outside advisory board is gone. Acting under Executive Order 14217, the Secretary terminated eight discretionary DHS federal advisory committees effective 2025-03-07, among them the Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee -- the standing external advisory body for the DHS Privacy Office -- along with the Homeland Security Academic Partnership Council, the Tribal Homeland Security Advisory Council, the Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board, the Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program, the Homeland Security Science and Technology Advisory Committee, the Cyber Investigations Advisory Board and the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council. It is `partial`, not `done`: the Quote also asks for the more than fifty working groups CRCL and PRIV take part in to be disbanded and for both offices to stop issuing bulletins and periodicals, and nothing found does either.
