The fiscal year 2027 Budget Request raises Payments for Federal Property (ESEA sec. 7002) from $79.0 million to $80.0 million. No bill in the 119th Congress would eliminate it: H.R. 4260 would change how the program is administered, not what it funds.

What was searched, and what didn’t count as evidence

Negative search: Federal Register full text for “Payments for Federal Property” since 2025-01-20 returns two Impact Aid paperwork notices and nothing on elimination; a search of the titles of the bills we keep and search for “Impact Aid” returns six measures, all of them either full-funding bills, an administration bill, or recognition resolutions. The half of this ask that needs an act of Congress rests on one negative search, run once for the program transfers and eliminations on pp. 325–327.
