The Department of Labor published a request for information asking faith organizations and stakeholders to identify barriers to their participation in DOL-funded and DOL-regulated programs, naming job training and employment support among the services concerned, and committing the Department to equal treatment and reasonable accommodations for them. Comments closed 2026-02-09 and the Department is analyzing them; the announced follow-on rulemaking (RIN 1290-AA53, implementing Executive Order 14205) has an NPRM scheduled for November 2026 and had not published by 2026-08-31.
