What has happened

FAA announced the eight eIPP partners selected in March 2026 (seven State departments of transportation plus the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the City of Albuquerque), giving advanced air mobility a standing federal-State-industry coordination mechanism. Still a program, not a government-wide clearinghouse, and it does not reach spectrum policy.

Two executive orders signed the same day put interagency machinery behind parts of this ask without creating the single clearinghouse the Quote asks for. EO 14305 sec. 4 establishes the Federal Task Force to Restore American Airspace Sovereignty, chaired by the APNSA, to align agencies on unmanned aircraft in the national airspace; EO 14307 directs NTIA and the FCC to report on barriers to spectrum access for UAS and creates the eVTOL Integration Pilot Program under FAA with OSTP coordination for advanced air mobility. Each covers one strand; none drives consistent policy across spectrum, drones and advanced air mobility together, and no body called a clearinghouse was established.

- Leveled partial rather than not started because EO 14305 sec. 4 establishes a real interagency body by its own terms and EO 14307 adds interagency work on both of the other two subjects. It is not done: the Quote asks for one clearinghouse driving consistent policy across spectrum, drones and advanced air mobility, and the three strands are handled by three different mechanisms with three different chairs.
