Nothing found on this ask, and the record runs hard against it. Executive Order 14238 named the Minority Business Development Agency among the entities to be reduced to the minimum presence and function required by law, and the FY2026 request folded MBDA into a $624 million elimination with EDA. The FY2027 Budget then proposed to abolish the agency outright (-$47 million), saying 'the Budget eliminates MBDA'. An agency being wound down was not remade into a data and research clearinghouse; MBDA's only in-window Federal Register output is two 2026-08-18 information collections for its Business Center and Capital Readiness programs.
