What has happened
- Not started
No compensation, back-pay or damages program exists for medical professionals dismissed under the CMS staff vaccination condition of participation. Federal Register full text for the window returns nothing establishing one, the HHS active regulatory agenda has no such rulemaking, and no appropriation in Public Law 119-4, 119-37, 119-74 or 119-75 funds one. The administration did do exactly this for a different group: Executive Order 14184 of 2025-01-27 reinstates service members discharged under the military COVID-19 vaccination mandate with back pay. Nothing parallel reaches civilian health care workers.
