OCR has issued no general statement of policy announcing refocused Section 1557 enforcement priorities. The June 2026 reorganization does create a Civil Rights Division whose remit is "race, color, national origin, sex, disability, and age" and which "leads priority enforcement initiatives, including high-impact investigations and systemic compliance reviews" - an organizational arrangement with that shape, not the announcement the Quote asks for, and it covers all of OCR's civil rights authorities rather than Section 1557 specifically.
