The Restoring the Armed Career Criminal Act was reintroduced in the 119th Congress as H.R. 4334 (Kustoff) and S. 2250 on 2025-07-10. Both were referred to the Judiciary Committees and neither has moved since: no markup, no committee report, no floor vote in either chamber. Under the requires-Congress ladder introduction and referral is not progress. No allowlisted Justice Department statement supporting either bill was found in the department's own press output for the window.
