    The President's Intelligence Advisory Board conducted an independent review of hundreds of finished CIA analytic products produced over the past decade, an internal review led by the Deputy Director agreed with its findings, and the Director ordered the retraction or substantive revision of nineteen products that "did not meet CIA and IC analytic tradecraft standards and failed to be independent of political consideration", releasing three in redacted form. A decade-wide audit of past politicization, still limited to the CIA. `partial` and not `done`: the Quote asks the President to direct the DNI *and* the Attorney General, through their Inspectors General and the IC Analytic Ombudsman, to audit all IC equities, and none of those actors or that scope is evidenced.

    The CIA Director tasked career officers with a lessons-learned review of the procedures and analytic tradecraft used in the Intelligence Community Assessment produced after the 2016 election, and declassified the result on 2025-07-02. The review found "multiple procedural anomalies", including a compressed timeline, uneven access to compartmented information, marginalisation of the National Intelligence Council and excessive involvement of agency heads. An audit of past politicization, of one episode at one agency.

  • The President announced the membership of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board on 2025-02-11 (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/02/president-trump-announces-the-presidents-intelligence-advisory-board/, fetched; the page is a nominations-and-appointments listing rather than a tasking, so it is context rather than an event).
  • Congress legislated on the same ground on 2025-12-18: P.L. 119-60 Division F section 6305 creates an annual IC-wide survey of analytic objectivity that must cover perceptions of bias or politicization, and section 6306 makes analytic-standards training a dedicated stand-alone course that must teach how to report politicization to the ODNI Analytic Ombudsman. Those are forward-looking duties, not an audit of past politicization, so they do not lift this Status; they carry #566.
  • The Justice Department half of the ask is untouched: no Attorney General or DOJ Inspector General audit of past intelligence politicization was found. The 2025-07-31 transmission of declassified Durham documents to Senator Grassley (https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/department-justice-cia-transmit-declassified-durham-documents-senator-chuck-grassley) is a declassification, not an audit.
