• Federal Register API: a search for “post-closure permit” in EPA documents from 2025-01-20 returned one, 2025-12-11 “No-Migration Variance From Land Disposal Restrictions for Clean Harbors Lone Mountain, Oklahoma” — a site-specific variance, not a permit class.
• EPA’s RCRA activity in the window is state program authorizations, hazardous waste listings and the withdrawal of the corrective-action definition proposal (2026-05-08); none creates a post-closure permit.
• Unified Agenda, read 2026-09-01. We read EPA’s full Unified Agenda on reginfo.gov (214 entries across the active, long-term and completed stages), because the Federal Register prints only the entries that need a Regulatory Flexibility analysis, and the 2026-08-27 negative was taken from that abbreviated version.
