    Filling has gone a long way and is not finished. By 2026-08-07 the Senate had confirmed 603 civilian nominations of this administration, against the roughly 1,000 Senate-confirmed appointments the Quote names — a rate sustained by en-bloc confirmations such as the 73 nominations carried on Record Vote 225 that day. Nominations have been transmitted continuously since January 2025; the whitehouse.gov notices run from 2025 through the window's close. Partial rather than done because a substantial share of Senate-confirmed posts remains unfilled, and because the Quote's second figure — about 3,000 political jobs not requiring confirmation — has no published count anywhere on the allowlist; the nearest measurable action there is the creation of Schedule G for noncareer policy positions in July 2025.

Counted from Senate nominations in the 119th Congress, from congress.gov (fetched 2026-08-28): 603 civilian nominations confirmed by the Senate in the window — 416 in 2025 and 187 in 2026 — out of 2,077 nomination records. 1,034 confirmations were by voice vote and 588 by roll call. congress.gov’s nomination pages could not be read, so the count is a research finding, not Evidence; the Evidence is the whitehouse.gov transmission notices and the Senate’s own roll-call record.

  • The second half of the ask — roughly 3,000 non-confirmed political jobs — has no published tally on any allowlisted source. The nearest structural action is Executive Order 14317 (2025-07-17), which created Schedule G in the excepted service for noncareer policy-making and policy-advocating positions, the very category the Mandate is describing (see #16).
  • The Quote’s further condition, that these posts be filled with “dedicated conservatives”, is a judgment about individuals and is not something this site grades.
