HHS published the peer-reviewed edition of the review, naming all nine authors and recording that the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Endocrine Society were invited to contribute their evidence and "both organizations declined to participate". **The read-queue row's test resolves in the negative and the Status therefore does not move.** The row asked whether the review commits NIH money to studying harms; it does not. The full report and executive summary were read on 2026-09-03 and searched three ways for a funding commitment: every NIH mention is a *criticism of existing NIH-funded research* ("an NIH-funded multi-site study"; "a principal investigator of NIH-funded research"), and the calls for "better research" — "inadequate research into the frequency and severity of these harms", "a dearth of research on psychotherapeutic approaches" — name no funding mechanism, no institute, no dollar figure and no notice. NIH Director Bhattacharya is quoted saying only "At the NIH, we are committed to ensuring that science, not ideology, guides America's medical research", which is a statement of posture and not a funded study. What these two events do is replace a Secondary-only 2025 record with dated Primary HHS releases on the ask's own subject.

The White House directed NIH to study regret and detransition after gender transition, according to an internal NIH memorandum reported by NPR. The report lives at opa.hhs.gov/gender-dysphoria-report; its PDF is a lead rather than Evidence here, because its dating is unstable — internal CreationDate 2025-11-18, ModDate 2026-04-23, a “2026-06” segment in its web address, and a published errata PDF alongside it. The 2025-11-19 announcement is the defensible date and is what the event carries.
