What has happened

Education, Interior and Labor opened tribal consultation on the Indian Education Partnership.
- Attempted
The ED-DOI Indian Education Partnership fact sheet names the Tribally Controlled Postsecondary Career and Technical Institutions Program, currently managed by OCTAE, among the programs Interior will administer for ED. Interior is the Bureau of Indian Education's department, but the agreement is with Interior, is an Economy Act service contract, and leaves the program's Perkins V authority and ED's policymaking role in place.
