The Department's civics work in the window is promotional rather than analytic — the America 250 Civics Education Coalition, the 50-state History Rocks tour, the Presidential 1776 Award, and a Patriotic Education supplemental grant priority (FR 2025-17960, proposed 2025-09-17) — and none of it examines action civics or its effect on students' understanding of history.
