Every Justice Department component was ordered to evaluate its consent decrees, settlement agreements, litigation positions, grants, procurements, internal policies and contracting arrangements, and to report to the Office of the Attorney General by March 15, 2025. That is a department-wide review of decrees and settlements, but keyed to one criterion — race- and sex-based preferences and DEI-related terms — rather than the thorough and holistic review of all department activity that the Quote asks for.
