What has happened

  1. Partially done

    The analysis has produced its first published output: a report on FACE Act enforcement built from roughly 700,000 internal records, with dismissals and a forward-looking charging directive attached. The Working Group's other named subjects remain open, so the analysis is under way rather than complete.

  2. Partially done

    Appointees did repeat the exercise after the inauguration. The Attorney General established the Weaponization Working Group under the Office of the Attorney General, supported by the Deputy Attorney General's office, the Office of Legal Policy, the Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, to conduct the same review of four years of enforcement conduct that Executive Order 14147 had ordered, with quarterly reports to the White House.
