Its staff are not Senate-confirmed and it makes no personnel announcements in the Federal Register; the only public trace of its size in the window is the FY2027 Budget Appendix, which funds the "Special Assistance to the President" account that pays the Vice President's staff at $6.0 million and 26 direct full-time equivalents.
