Congress moved the other way and DHS has announced nothing. No DHS statement that it will cease reporting on outdated matters, and no sunset policy applied to congressional reports by the Office of Legislative Affairs, was found. In the same period the House passed H.R. 8874, which adds a recurring reporting requirement rather than sunsetting one; it was received in the Senate on 2026-07-14.
