P.L. 119-21 amended two of the four named laws in the Mandate's direction: it repealed IRA §50142, rescinded unobligated balances of eight IRA DOE sections and terminated or phased out IRA energy credits (§§70501-70515), and rewrote Energy Policy Act §1706 to turn the IRA-era Energy Infrastructure Reinvestment loan authority into "energy dominance financing" (§50403). The DOE Organization Act and the IIJA were not amended; the CHIPS advanced-manufacturing credit was enlarged (§70308), not cut.

H.R. 3617, Securing America’s Critical Minerals Supply Act, “to amend the Department of Energy Organization Act to secure the supply of critical energy resources”, passed the House 223-206 on 2026-02-11 (congress.gov API actions) and was referred to Senate Energy and Natural Resources 2026-02-12. It amends the Organization Act for a purpose adjacent to the Chapter’s critical-minerals theme, not for the reorganization the Mandate describes; the govinfo details page (BILLS-119hr3617) failed to open on 2026-08-27 (a server error), so it is a lead.
The FY2026 Energy-Water act §311 (P.L. 119-74) redirected IIJA balances without amending the IIJA’s authorizing text; tracked under #922.
No bill titled with “Department of Energy Security and Advanced Science” or amending the Organization Act to rename or restructure DOE was found (see #923).
