DOE is pursuing acceleration by other means — the dual glass-plus-grout strategy for Hanford tank waste, which EM says could move more than nine million gallons a year out of state by 2030 and accelerate cleanup by decades — but no schedule commitment of the kind the Quote asks Congress to consider was made, and no bill setting one was found.
