“Drop “Emergency Management” from OLEM’s name.”
What has happened

The Office of Land and Emergency Management still carries that name. EPA's organization chart (2026-01-08) and OLEM's own page (2026-08-17) both use it, and the FY 2026 CJ reorganization addendum renames units inside OLEM without touching the office's title.

Research notes
- The renaming that did happen is one level down: the Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation became the Office of Superfund and Emergency Management, which moves “Emergency Management” further into the office’s naming rather than out of it.
- #1137, the elimination of the Office of Emergency Management, is done on the same documents. A rename of the parent office is a separate ask and did not happen.
