“No public institution may require an education employee or contractor to use a pronoun that does not match a person's biological sex if contrary to the employee's or contractor's religious or moral convictions.”

Nothing protects an education employee or contractor from being required to use a pronoun against religious or moral conviction. H.R. 2616, the one measure in this cluster to reach a floor, runs the other way round: it regulates what the school may do to a student's records, and says nothing about what a school may require of its staff. No other bill, order or rule in the window creates such a protection for school employees.
