Reinstate SO 3352, National Petroleum Reserve—Alaska

What has happened

1. Feb 3, 2025 Done

   SO 3422 §5, "Reinstatement of Secretary's Order": "SO 3352, dated May 31, 2017, titled 'National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska,' previously revoked by SO 3398, dated April 16, 2021, is reinstated." The same order revokes SO 3401, the Biden halt on Coastal Plain leasing. The reinstated order's leasing direction has since been carried out — BLM adopted an integrated activity plan reopening about 82 percent of the reserve (see #1479) and held the first NPR-A lease sale since 2019.
