    The farm bill that moved in this Congress keeps the two halves together. H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act, passed the House 224-200 on 2026-04-30 with Title I Commodities and Title IV Nutrition in one measure on one timeline, exactly the coupling the Quote asks Congress to break. The reconciliation act did not split them either: P.L. 119-21 Title I carries Subtitle A Nutrition and Subtitle C Commodities side by side. No bill in the 119th-Congress Corpus proposes separate authorization timelines for the agriculture and nutrition titles.   • S. 5526, the Agricultural Act of 2026, is the Senate’s vehicle. It was reported by Mr. Boozman from the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry as an original bill and placed on the calendar (Calendar No. 683) on 2026-09-24. The reported print (BILLS-119s5526rs, read at govinfo 2026-09-27) has the same twelve titles as H.R. 7567, with Title IV Nutrition beside Title I Commodities, and it amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 throughout. Both chambers’ vehicles keep the coupling. A bill placed on the calendar has still not passed anything, so nothing moves.
