Build space intelligence alliances beyond the Five Eyes
Printed page 230 7. Intelligence Community
“Additionally, the IC should support building international alliances with like-minded partners beyond the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing nations.”
What has happened
- Attempted
Executive Order 14369 section 2(b)(iv) makes it policy to strengthen "ally and partner contributions to United States and collective space security, including through increased space security spending, operational cooperation, basing agreements, and ally and partner investments in America's space industrial base", and section 3(e) requires the Secretary of State, in coordination with the Secretary of War and the DNI, to implement a plan to do so within 180 days. The order is not limited to the Five Eyes. A directive with no published plan yet, so `attempted`.

Research notes
- Executive Order 14369 carries the whole group of space asks on p. 230 (#611, #612, #613). Its operative words were read at the Federal Register text on govinfo.gov.
- All three are attempted: the order sets policy and 90- to 180-day tasking deadlines that fall after the research date, and no implementing document (the space security strategy, the national security space architecture plan, or the ally-and-partner plan) has been published.
