    The FY2026 NDAA sec. 901 puts the prohibition in statute for the whole Department: it repeals the Chief Diversity Officer (10 U.S.C. 147), the program on diversity in military leadership (10 U.S.C. 656), the senior advisors for diversity and inclusion and the Inspector General's diversity oversight, and bars the Secretary from maintaining any diversity, equity, inclusion or accessibility office, employing a chief diversity officer, publishing diversity plans or surveys, maintaining affinity groups or equity teams, or developing, implementing, distributing, publishing, establishing or purchasing any training course on the subject. The Army can no longer run the programs the Quote calls social evolution.

    EO 14151 orders every agency, the Department of Defense included, to terminate all discriminatory and wasteful diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility programs, offices, positions and plans. A directive; the Army's programs were still standing.
