Issue an executive order announcing agriculture policy principles
Printed page 293 10. Department of Agriculture
“To accomplish these objectives, a new Administration should announce its principles through an executive order …”
What has happened
- Partially done
An executive order announcing an agriculture policy was issued — EO 14414, Advancing Regenerative Agriculture and Strengthening American Farm Resilience (signed 2026-06-25) — and it states "it is the policy of the United States" to reduce red tape, spur farm modernization and "ensure a healthy, abundant, and affordable food supply". It is `partial` rather than `done` because the principles it announces are only partly the ones the Mandate listed: it carries the affordability and deregulation themes but frames them through the Make America Healthy Again agenda and commits the government to increasing federal investment in regenerative-agriculture practices, which is closer to the practice-promotion the Mandate objects to on p. 294 than to the five objectives on p. 293. No order announces those five objectives as such.

Research notes
- Other in-window agriculture orders were checked and are narrower instruments, not principle statements: EO 14225 (timber production, 2025-03-01), EO 14308 (wildfire, 2025-06-12), EO 14360 (agricultural tariff scope, 2025-11-14), EO 14364 (food-supply-chain price fixing, 2025-12-06).
- The objectives the Mandate wants announced are tracked separately: #756 (denounce climate priority — done by press release, not by order), #757 (U.N. schemes), #759 (web-site references), #760 (review of imposed practices).
- A boundary call: the alternative reading is not started, on the ground that an order announcing different principles is not the order the Quote asked for.
